NR Wake Technology

Where we explain all of the technology, materials and design of our wakeboards with some behind the scene bonus videos of us putting in WERK.

This is a GENERAL tech page. Below is simply the exact technology we use in EVERY wakeboard we produce (currently) and we are firm believers that our materials and innovations are the absolute highest of quality.

If you would like to see an certain boards tech and specs, be sure to view that product in our SHOP.

ISOSPORT 8210 TopSheet

Theres one product out there that is above all when it comes to TopSheet. And its ISOSPORT 8210 (Beware of the cheap versions of clear topsheet). It is 100% transparent with an ultra gloss finish. It has the best UV resistant properties out there, and is extremely scratch resistant. Basically it will protect your board the best, and longest.

PAULOWNIA WOOD CORE

Paulownia is an exotic wood that is known to be the lightest and strongest wood on the planet. If we handed you, say a 2x4 of this stuff you wouldn’t want to believe it is actual wood. This stuff is found only in the highest quality wakeboards and snowboards.

Tapered Flex Profile

In between the bindings being the thickest. And casually getting thinner towards the nose and tail gives you durability where its needed and flexibility when you want it.

VectorPly Biaxle Fiberglass

A 12 oz. +/- 45 degree (fiber orientation) stitched fiberglass gives the board its torsional strength and rigidity and lifetime pop.

Intermediate Modulus Carbon

Found inside our Park ELITE, this “IM” (Intermediate Modulus) Carbon Fiber is even a higher grade carbon than standard carbon fiber… “IM” Carbon basically means “more stiff”, so we are able to use a lighter fabric while also giving the board more stiffness, response and explosiveness.

Ultralight Spread Tow Carbon

Found inside our Park FLEX, this “checkerboard’ carbon fiber is PAPER thin and weighs almost nothing. Being a “spread tow” fabric, means there will be little to no crimping within the fabric, and no room for resin to pool up in between fibers. Spread Tow fabrics are extremely efficient in saving weight and creating a product that is very durable.

5 Pack of M6 Inserts
